BlazBlue: Continuum Shift has been sneakily released in Japan by Arc System Works on 20 November. The game is already out in Singapore, with the Bugis Virtualand being one of the confirmed places carrying the game.

The "official" website for Left 4 Dead 2's fictitious Southern rock band, The Midnight Riders, has been updated with blog posts and track listings for their latest album.

For those of you who are looking for more story in your L4D2 experience, the blog posts mention something about a "green flu", which most likely refers to the mutated rabies responsible for causing the zombie outbreak in the game.

Games Workshop, the creators of the Warhammer 40k tabletop game, have announced a new feature-length movie based on their Warhammer 40k universe. Called Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 Movie, the 70-minute film is due to be released on DVD.

Left 4 Dead 2 is out! Our resident L4D geek, Edward "Glimmerous.Fop" Pang, has been playing the campaign modes on Expert difficulty for the past couple of days. Here are some basic campaign tips for all you zombie apocalypse masochists.

• Old school remake of L4D into a top-down shooter.
• Authentic NES-style graphics (16 colours!) and audio (4 channel soundtrack!).
• To be released as a freeware game on 4 January.
• All five Boss Infected and all four L4D campaigns will be included in the game.
• OMG FIREBALL BOOMER!

Still feeling peeved at Infinity Ward for removing dedicated servers from Modern Warfare 2? Never underestimate the PC community, for some aspiring MW2 PC gamers have managed to hack into the developer console and enabled the ability to set up dedicated servers.

• Yet another WoW video of Mr. T, this time it advertises the new Mohawk grenade.
• The Mohawk grenade is given by the Night Elf Mohawk NPC. He can be found at any WoW starting location.
• The grenade has five charges. Anyone caught in the blast radius will be turned into a Night Elf Mohawk.
• This is a real WoW update. No joke.

Gearbox has released a mini-update for Borderlands. If you have the Steam version of Borderlands, the update will be automatically applied once you login to Steam. Otherwise, you can download the patch for the retail version here.

You've read about how Borderlands manages to mash-up Diablo's style of character levelling and item farming into a 3D, FPS perspective. Other games such as Hellgame: London have tried a similar mash-up but failed miserably. What makes Borderlands so special?
