Nintendo Wii Sports Weekend photo gallery

The Nintendo Wii Sports Weekend was held last weekend, 24 and 25 October 2009, at the Ngee Ann City Civic Centre. The event showcased the Wii Sports Resort game, featuring 12 sports activities, including archery, basketball, bowling and Frisbee, along with the new Wii MotionPlus controller.

In attendance were sports personalities such as Aide Iskandar, former captain of the national football squad, national bowler Remy Ong and 2009 Singapore Sportswoman of the Year Jasmine Yeong-Nathan and her brother Jason.

Borderlands PC: Steam release date delayed

Update: there is currently a VPN workaround (basically a network hack to fool Steam into thinking that you're an American customer) that will enable you to play the game on Steam immediately. You can view the steps of the workaround here. Do this at your own risk.

CNA can’t differentiate between Maple and Prototype

Yet another gaffe from the mainstream media: Channel NewsAsia can't tell the difference between Maple Story, a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG, from Prototype, a 3D third-person shooter.

XGS ’09: Borderlands (XBOX 360) First Impressions

I had the opportunity to try out Borderlands split-screen co-op together with fellow GameSync contributor DEATHANGELX at XGS09. After the intro, we are presented with our protagonists; Brick, Lilith, Mordecai and Roland. Each character represents a different class and each has its own unique weapons and abilities. It feels a little like a single player version of TF2 set on a dystopian planet.
